Russian occupiers stage terrorist attack in Melitopol before "referendum" and plan to blame Ukraine - mayor
The mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported that Russian occupiers staged a terrorist attack on the Central Market of Melitopol.
He wrote about this in telegram.
In the Central Market of Melitopol, where there is always a large crowd of people, the Russian invaders made an explosion.
At first it was reported that three occupants were killed as a result of the explosion. Later, the mayor of Melitopol clarified that the Russians had liquidated six of their soldiers with their own hands. Information about civilians is being clarified.
"Fear, terror, and the elimination of those who disagree are three components that Russia demonstrates all the time in the occupied territories. And before the pseudo-referendum, the killing among its own people intensifies," Fedorov notes.
Russian occupiers plan to accuse Ukraine of terror.
"Everyone should understand: this is the future that a terrorist country predicts for us. Therefore, neither pseudo-referendums nor any statements by terrorists will change our course: we will de-occupy our territories and return peace to our home," the mayor of Melitopol emphasized.
