Russian forces want to introduce passes for locals in Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka, cities are closed to entry
Serhii Khlan, deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, said that passes will be made for those residents who do not want to leave, but they must explain why they are staying in the cities
He wrote about this on Facebook.
He also said that the Russian forces are forcibly evicting residents from homes located close to the banks of the Dnipro River.
“The Russian forces want those who remained in Nova Kakhovka and Kakhovka to receive passes. Accordingly, they should indicate their personal data, place of residence, and the reason why they were not "evacuated." There is no connection with the cities, so it is still problematic to find out more about such an innovation,” he wrote.
Khlan also noted that the Russian troops are distributing leaflets that all residents should come to the so-called "military administrations", from where people will be taken out. According to him, the locals refuse.
