Russian forces take dozens people from village in Luhansk region to unknown location
In the village of Markivka of the Luhansk region, during the so-called "filtering measures", the invading Russian forces put 40 local residents on a bus and took them to an unknown destination
This was reported by the Ukraine’s Center of National Resistance.
“The Russian occupiers continue to deport Ukrainians and resort to coercive measures. If in the south the deportation takes place under the guise of "evacuation", where the Russians deliberately create unbearable conditions and at the same time forbid departure to free Ukraine, then in the east the Russians resort to outright coercion,” the Center reports.
In particular, in the village of Markivka, the Russian forces - when carrying out "filtering measures" - put 40 local residents on a bus and forcibly took them to an unknown destination, the locals say.
The Center of National Resistance calls on the residents of the temporarily occupied territories to leave the region and move to territories under the control of the Ukrainian government.
