Russian forces prepare to gain foothold, build defense lines in Zaporizhzhia direction - serviceman Burlyk
Ukrainian serviceman Viktor Burlyk says Ukraine's Armed Forces are destroying Russian equipment in the Zaporizhzhia direction
He gave an update on Espreso TV.
“Russian forces fired again at Komyshuvakha and Orikhiv. They do not look at civilian casualties and destroy critical infrastructure facilities - this is typical behavior of terrorists. Ukraine's Armed Forces always respond clearly and accurately to the occupiers. We try to destroy as much enemy equipment as possible without damaging infrastructure and houses of the civilians,” Burlyk emphasized.
According to the serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Russian enemy is building defense lines at the Zaporizhzhia bridgehead.
“The enemies withdrew heavy weapons from the frontline, because their equipment was destroyed from time to time by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. A concentration of infantry remains there. They are digging in and preparing to spend the winter building dugouts. The Russian forces are building defense lines as far as possible from the front. They are preparing to gain a foothold in the Zaporizhzhia direction, but they don't have long left. We are doing everything to clear our land of the occupiers,” Burlyk added.
