UN Security Council to meet on Ukraine situation
On Thursday, January 16, the UN Security Council will meet to discuss the situation in Ukraine in relation to the ongoing Russian war

Ukrinform reports that the meeting will begin at 10:00 pm Kyiv time.
The meeting on the agenda item "Maintenance of peace and security of Ukraine" will be held at the request of Slovenia and the United States, which consulted with the Ukrainian delegation.
According to the Security Council Secretariat, the UN will be represented by a representative from the UN Department of Political Affairs.
- On Monday, January 13, at the initiative of Ukraine, the UN Security Council will hold a meeting on Russia's crimes against Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians.
