Ukrainian defense forces repel Russian attacks on Ukraine's border with Kursk region

“The enemy amassed along the border near Zhuravka (Sumy region - ed.) and tried to assault the settlement, but the units of the Defense Forces made these attempts unsuccessful. The attacks are expected to be repeated, as the enemy has resources there,” the OSINT analysts wrote.

According to DeepState, in recent days, the activity in the Kursk region has somewhat decreased compared to last week. Assault operations continue in the direction of Lebedevka-Sverdlikovo and battles for control of the village of Nikolaevo-Daryino. 

• In a statement, the Sumy Regional Military Administration emphasized that as of January 14, no breakthrough of the state border had been recorded.
