Ukraine reports 124 combat clashes on front, halts 56 Russian attacks in Pokrovsk direction

This was stated by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in its morning update at 08:00 a.m.

"Yesterday, Russian forces launched one missile and 50 airstrikes targeting Ukrainian positions and settlements. This included the use of 44 missiles and 71 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they carried out more than 5,000 attacks, including 142 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 2,361 kamikaze drones," the General Staff reported.

They further noted that Ukrainian aviation, missile troops, and artillery had hit five Russian personnel, weapons, and equipment concentrations. They also targeted four air defense systems, three command posts, two UAV command centers, three artillery systems, and one ammunition depot.

Frontline situation

Kharkiv direction: Russian troops twice attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and Tykhe.

Kupyansk direction: Ukrainian defenders thwarted five Russian assaults near Kindrashivka, Zahryzove, Topoli, and Petropavlivka.

Lyman direction: Russian forces launched 16 attacks, attempting to break through near Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka, Kolodyazi, Terny, and Hryhorivka.

Kramatorsk direction: Six Russian attacks were recorded near Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne.

Toretsk direction: Russian forces carried out nine assaults near Bila Hora, Toretsk, and Krymske.

Pokrovsk direction: Ukrainian troops stopped 56 Russian attacks targeting Baranivka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Novyi Trud, Shevchenko, Udachne, Kotlyne, Petropavlivka, Stari Terny, Yantarne, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Andriivka, and Dachne.

Novopavlivka direction: Five Russian attacks were repelled, with the heaviest fighting near Vremivka and Kostiantynopil.

Orikhiv direction: Ukrainian defenders fended off four Russian assaults in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, and Shcherbaky.

Siversk, Hulyaipole, and Kherson directions: No Russian attacks were recorded over the past day.

Kursk direction: There were 15 clashes, during which Russian forces conducted 13 airstrikes, dropping 18 guided bombs, and launched 340 artillery attacks, including 15 strikes from multiple rocket launcher systems.

Along the Belarusian border, no signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected.

• Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces eliminated at least 1,480 Russian soldiers and destroyed various pieces of military equipment and weapons.
