Russia loses 11 tanks, 23 artillery systems, and over 1,000 soldiers in a day – General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff shared their regular report, as below.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 26, 2023, amounted to:

• personnel – about 324,830 (+1,070)

• armored fighting vehicles ‒ 10,279 (+16)
• artillery systems – 7,874 (+23)

According to the General Staff, near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian army conducted assault operations near Synkivka and Ivanivka, Kharkiv region, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 4 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, Russia did not carry out assault actions. 

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukraine's troops repelled 10 attacks near 2 settlements in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the Russian invading forces, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops, supported by air power, keep trying to encircle Avdiivka. The Ukrainian soldiers are holding steadfast and inflicting significant losses on their enemy. Russia's offensive near 4 settlements in the Donetsk region was unsuccessful. Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 attacks there.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian army conducted assault operations near Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed 9 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops conducted an unsuccessful offensive near Zolota Nyva and Staromayorske, Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russia's army unsuccessfully tried 8 times to regain the lost position near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying Russian forces, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continue to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflict fire on Russia's rear.

Russia has been attacking Ukraine with Shahed drones for two nights in a row. Ukrainian aviation carries out 11 strikes against the invading forces

Russia launched a total of 4 missile and 109 air strikes, and 59 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Additionally, Russian occupiers carried out an airstrike on Ukraine yesterday, deploying 87 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Fortunately, all enemy drones were destroyed, but there were civilian casualties and damage to residential buildings and other infrastructure.

Furthermore, today, Russia has once again attacked the country using Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Details about the consequences are currently being clarified.

Russian troops launched air strikes on 8 settlements across Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.

Over 100 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions were targeted by artillery fire.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted 11 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment. Ukrainian missile forces targeted 11 concentrations of Russian forces, including 4 artillery facilities, a control post, and an ammunition depot.

• On the night of Sunday, November 26, occupying Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 9 attack drones, 8 of which Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed.
