Russia is probably preparing for “goodwill gesture” in Tokmak
In the Melitopol direction, Russian forces began to actively remove property from schools. Occupying Russian forces are probably preparing for a “gesture of goodwil”, meaning retreat, in Tokmak
The mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov shared his opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
"There is information that the Russian enemy has begun to remove and evacuate all property from schools. We hope that they are preparing to escape, but it is too early to say," said the mayor of Melitopol.
The biggest fighting is currently taking place near Tokmak, Fedorov noted. Hospitals are overcrowded, and there is nowhere to put Russian soldiers who are being brought from the Zaporizhzhia front line.
According to Ivan Fedorov, it has been very noisy in Tokmak and Molochansk in recent weeks.
"There are explosions in Tokmak every day, and today is no exception. At least three explosions occurred in the morning. Today, all residents of Tokmak were forbidden to leave their homes, no shops are open," said Fedorov.

The next day, Askad Ashurbekov, a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, noted that Tokmak was already within the range of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' barrel artillery. Russia began evacuating their special services from there.
