Russia accuses Ukraine of attacking Moscow with drone
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that the air defense system shot down a drone that Ukraine allegedly used to attack the Russian capital
He wrote about this on his Telegram.
"An attempt was made to fly over the city with one drone. As a result of air defense, it was liquidated," Sobyanin wrote.
He added that no one was injured when the debris fell near Karmyshevskaya Embankment. There was also no serious damage.
In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry said that during the day, Ukraine allegedly tried to "carry out a terrorist attack with a drone against a facility in Moscow." The ministry noted that the UAV was allegedly stopped with the help of electronic warfare, after which the drone crashed in a forest in western Moscow.
Russian media add that the drone was flying over the Moscow River at an altitude of 150 meters. The wreckage of the drone fell in the park area of the 67th Vorokhobov City Hospital.
