An air alert was announced in Lviv Oblast at 1:10 p.m., and around 2:20 p.m. the city and some localities in the region lost power.
"The whole city is without electricity. We are waiting for additional information from the energy experts. There may be interruptions in the water supply. Stay in shelters," wrote Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
Trams and trolleybuses do not run in the city. After the alarm is over, they promise to put additional buses on the roads. Due to the lack of electricity, the supply of heating and water has also been temporarily suspended.
The head of the Lviv regional military administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, noted that Yavoriv, Lviv and Chervonohrad districts are without electricity due to rocket attacks on the power substation in the Lviv region.
At 2:41 p.m., the mayor of Lutsk also reported on interruptions in the supply of electricity in the city and the villages of the community due to shelling.
"Interruptions in the supply of electricity in the city and villages of the community in connection with the shelling by Russian terrorists of energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine," writes Ihor Polishchuk.
In Rivne, due to the lack of voltage in the network, the movement of trolleybuses was stopped.
By 2:35 p.m. in Ivano-Frankivsk region, the energy industry has urgently introduced emergency shutdown schedules for all lines in the region.
In the Chernivtsi region, emergency power outages were also introduced for all groups of consumers.
The situation is the same in Zakarpattia Oblast.
