The regional information headquarters of the Dnipropetrovsk region reports.

"The hand with blue and yellow bracelets from the burial in Izyum is a fragment of the body of a soldier from Nikopol. This photo from the exhumation procedure has spread around the world - an impressive picture of a blackened hand with a bracelet of patriotic colors," the message says.

Oksana Sova, a resident of Nikopol, recognized her husband by a tattoo on his body.

Her husband, Serhiy, was a 36-year-old athlete and professional dog handler from the city of Nikopol, as well as a soldier of the 93rd "Kholodny Yar" division.  On April 19, the woman lost contact with her beloved husband. The Hero has two children, 9 and 14 years old.

According to the woman in a comment to "Facts", Serhiy never hid from her that the defense of the Kharkiv region is difficult.

"He told me that three or four days before they were covered by the Russian air force, enemy's artillery and tanks were coming at them. The resistance from our side was less because we did not have enough weapons to give a decent response. Serhiy said that the mobilized were the first to die, because there is less experience. On April 19, there were six killed soldiers from their unit. And the man said that there was an order to stand until the end, so he would do it. But it is not known how many of them will be killed. After that, the connection was lost..." - said the defender's wife.

For five months, the woman was looking for her husband, Serhii was declared missing.  When the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Izyum and the exhumation of the bodies of the soldiers and civilians killed by the occupiers began, the woman became anxious.

"I didn't think that the grave of my Serhiy would be found in that forest, because the positions were in a completely different place, in a forest plantation. I thought that he would be found there. Then the photos of the exhumation began to appear, and I had no doubt that this is a hand of my husband on the photo. I recognized my husband by numerous tattoos, there were large images on his body - an owl's head, an image of a skull, a samurai with Chinese characters. Even the tattooed name of my daughter remained on his arm. And yellow and blue bracelets. With these bracelets Serhiy has not divorced since 2014. Even when he was going to war, our children gave them to him as charms. My son then went to the first grade, and my daughter turned one year old. Around the neck of my husband were silver chains with the image of the Archangel. As far as I understood, Russians took everything away. Even in the pockets of Sergiy's uniform, there must be toys from the "kindergarten", which Elinka often gave him," Marina says.

The wife of the fallen soldier thinks that her husband was buried by locals because there are crosses and flowers on the graves, but she also thinks that Serhiy could have been a victim of torture.
