Mi-24 attack helicopter that may belong to Russia crashes in Belarus
On June 22, a Mi-24 attack helicopter, which may belong to the Russian Aerospace Forces, crashed in Belarus, injuring the crew members and causing no damage
This was reported by the Belarusian Motolko Help monitoring project.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense reports that the helicopter “made a hard landing” at 1:30 p.m. in the Baranavichy district. The ministry does not say who owned the aircraft.
In turn, the monitoring group, relying on local sources, reports that the helicopter went down near the M1 highway between Ivatsevichy and Baranavichy and claims that the aircraft belongs to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
“At the same time, we emphasize that the official report of the Belarusian Defense Ministry does not specify whose helicopter 'made a hard landing'” the monitoring project comments.
On June 22, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service recorded a slight increase in the number of Russian troops in Belarus, arriving for training.
