Lukashenko accuses Poland of "provoking West" to use nuclear weapons
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, says that Poland is "provoking the West" to use nuclear weapons, which, according to the dictator, should now be stored where they are
This was reported by the Belarusian Belta news agency with reference to Lukashenko's interview with the NBC American television company.
"You know, the main initiator who bets on the use of nuclear weapons... Can't guess who? I'll tell you. Poland. It is provoking you - the US - to make some moves in terms of nuclear weapons. Don't fall for this trick. You are a big technological country, and there is no need to dance to the tune of crazy politicians," he said.
According to the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, nuclear weapons should be stored where they are. According to Lukashenko, as soon as it moves toward Poland, a chain reaction will start.
"On the other hand, appropriate steps will be taken. Therefore, there is no need to go for it. We need to calm down and sit down at the negotiating table," Lukashenko said.
