Russian occupiers claim 17 cases of acute intestinal infection in Mariupol. Half of them are children. However, the city council noted that the situation is actually much worse.
"Given the almost complete lack of medical care, more than 30 people die in Mariupol per week. This is more than in Mariupol of half a million people before the war. Due to unsanitary conditions and pollution of underground water and rivers, there is also a danger of cholera spreading in the city," the city council emphasized.
