"Hit mercenary base, military depots, air defense": how Russian propaganda justified terrorist attack on Ukraine
On December 29, Russian propaganda is trying to justify terrorist attacks on civilians in Ukraine
This is reported by the Centre for Strategic Communications.
"Today's missile attacks on Ukrainian cities by Putin's Russia are a practical embodiment of its genocidal rhetoric. The killed and wounded Ukrainians, damaged and destroyed civilian infrastructure is a demonstration of the essence of the totalitarian Russian Federation," the centre notes.
Russia's propaganda are promoting fake claims about the terrorist attack. Allegedly, a mercenary base was destroyed in Lviv, and Ukrainian air defense systems hit a maternity hospital in Dnipro and residential buildings in Kyiv and Odesa.
Terrorists are promoting the narrative that "Nazi equipment" was destroyed in Zaporizhzhia and that the Yavoriv training ground in Lviv region was completely destroyed.
- On the night of December 29, Russia launched several groups of Shahed to attack Ukraine, and in the morning, Russia launched missiles, hitting high-rise buildings, educational institutions, a shopping centre and a maternity hospital. As of 19:00, more than 100 people were wounded and 31 killed.
