Final decision is not made yet: Nikiforov denies information about Zelensky's planning to visit to G20
The press secretary of the President of Ukraine Serhiy Nikiforov denied the information that Zelenskyy has already decided to visit the G20 summit in Indonesia in November
This was reported by "Dzerkalo Tyzhnia" with reference to Nikiforov's statement.
"No, the final decision has not been made yet," he said.
The president's press secretary made the corresponding statement after the release of The National's material, in which the Indonesian ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Husin Baghis, allegedly stated that both Zelenskyy and Putin will attend the G20 summit.
Neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian foreign ministry is understood to have responded to The National's requests to confirm plans for the presidents to attend the G20 summit.
Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia will participate in the G20 summit, but the format is still not defined.
It is known that this year G20 is chaired by Indonesia, which is organizing the summit on November 15-16 on the island of Bali.
