Estonian Defense Ministry publishes roadmap for Ukraine's victory: key points
The Estonian Defense Ministry has published a Military Strategy for Ukraine's Victory and Russia's Defeat that explains how Ukraine can defeat the enemy on the battlefield
This is reported by the Strategic Committee of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Key ideas of the document:
The combined political, economic and military power of the allies virtually guarantees Ukraine's victory over Russia. The defense budget of the Ramstein (Ukraine Defense Contact Group - ed.) members alone is 13 times larger than the defense budget of Russia.
So far, the Ramstein countries have provided Ukraine with military aid worth only 0.2% of their total GDP. Russia has yet to see the real power of democracy's arsenal.
Russia spends about a third of its budget on war. This fact, the impact of sanctions, and the Kremlin's rapid exhaustion of contingency plans mean that continuing the war may well be unacceptable to Russia. If the Kremlin can be convinced that support for Ukraine will continue.
“To undermine Russia's ability to restore its forces, Ukraine needs to neutralize 50,000 Russians every six months. Which it is successfully doing,” the document says.
Allies need to increase arms production and support for Ukraine. In particular, they need to provide artillery shells, air defense systems, and their own simple platoon-level drones.
To implement the victory plan, Ukraine needs 0.25% of the annual GDP of the allied countries.
