Yaroslav Lysenko, a fighter of the Svoboda battalion of Ukraine’s National Guard, reported that the enemy is carrying out attacks and trying to occupy gray areas of Donetsk region, but fails

He told about this on Espreso TV.

"Heavy battles are taking place around Avdiivka, it is currently the most tense section of the Donetsk front. It all borders the settlements of Pisky, Vodyane, which are one line, and protect us  from the enemy in the south. Maryinka and Kurakhove are ours, and this 15- 20 km from Donetsk, that is, we have practically lost nothing and are holding on," a soldier of the Svoboda battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine commented .

Yaroslav Lysenko noted that now there is no enemy artillery barrage, as it was in April.

"The enemy carries out some attacks and tries to occupy the gray zones, but the Russian forces  fail here. It is ridiculous if the enemy occupies 50 or 300 meters temporarily and claims it is a success. The line of contact is flexible and alive, accordingly, it can move. Our main task is to preserve personnel, therefore, we can retreat behind some corn fields, but then we will retake one and a half kilometers thanks to the western artillery," Lysenko explained.
