An end to the war depends on Russia, and the West's desire to arm Ukraine - Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky outlined how and when the war may end and when Ukraine will return to negotiations with Russia.
He shared his opinion during a speech at the Ukrainian lunch in Davos, reported Espreso.
"I think it depends on specific things. First and foremost on the various parties' willingness, united West's desires on the financial strength and armament of Ukraine. And the West's desire not to fear fight Russia in this hybrid war not with its people, but differently. It also depends on the Russian Federation's willingness," said Zelensky.
He added that the war will end in any case. The main question is who Ukraine will negotiate with.
"This war will end in any case. There is a military part, after the military part there will be a peace process in any case, there will be negotiations, there will definitely be peace. The question of which Russian president Ukraine will negotiate with. And it also depends on the wishes of the current Russian president," he concluded.
