Zelenskyy tells Russians: Kremlin plans to mobilize up to 1 million men, they will take everyone - protest, flee, surrender

 Zelenskyi said this in a video message.

"Just think about the number of people they want to take away! We know for sure that summonses for 300,000 people were printed and signed in advance, even before this decision on mobilization appeared. Ukrainian intelligence proved it. But the Russian leadership prepares to take up to a million men into the army and this is the main thing they keep quiet about now. We know they will take everyone indiscriminately. Not just reservists, but any men. Anyone who is more afraid to evade the war than to die there," Zelenskyi said.

The President of Ukraine also gave Russians "options to survive" in case of forced mobilization.

"55 thousand Russian soldiers died in this war in half a year. Tens of thousands are wounded, maimed. Do you want more? No? Then protest. Fight. Run. Or surrender to Ukrainian captivity. These are options for you to survive. Russian mothers! Do not doubt that the children of the leadership of your state will not be in the war against Ukraine. Those who make decisions in your country protect their children. And they don't even bury your children," Zelenskyi said.

The President reminded that protests against mobilization continue in the Russian Federation and emphasized that the time has come for Russians to choose whether to live or die in the war.

"Protests against mobilization took place in the cities of Russia - although not massive, but they were. And they are. And this is an indicator. Not only in Moscow and St. Petersburg. We know the real mood in the regions of Russia. We see that people in Dagestan, Buryatia, other national republics and regions of Russia understand that they were simply abandoned. They were abandoned to death. Why, for example, should Dagestanis or anyone else die in Kharkiv Oblast or near Donetsk? But because one person in Russia decided so for all citizens of Russia. There is no other reason. This is what he wants. You are already complicit in all these crimes, murders and tortures of Ukrainians. Because you were silent. Because you are silent. And now is your time to choose. For men in Russia, it is a choice - to die or to live, to be crippled or to stay healthy. For women in Russia, the choice is to lose husbands, sons, and grandchildren forever, or to try to protect them from death, from war, from one person," Zelenskyi said.
