Zelenskyy congratulates Sunak on taking post of Prime Minister of Great Britain

Zelensky wrote about this on Twitter.

He expressed his readiness to strengthen the Ukrainian-British strategic partnership together with the new prime minister.

"Congratulations to Rishi Sunak on taking office as British Prime Minister! I wish you to successfully overcome all the challenges facing British society and the whole world today. I’m ready to continue strengthening the Ukrainian-British strategic partnership together!," Zelenskyy wrote.

• On October 24, it became known that Rishi Sunak will become the new prime minister.
• On October 25, the King of Great Britain, Charles III, accepted the resignation of Liz Truss from the post of Prime Minister and instructed Rishi Sunak to form a new government.
