President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Rishi Sunak on becoming the new Prime Minister of Great Britain

Zelensky wrote about this on Twitter.

He expressed his readiness to strengthen the Ukrainian-British strategic partnership together with the new prime minister.

"Congratulations to Rishi Sunak on taking office as British Prime Minister! I wish you to successfully overcome all the challenges facing British society and the whole world today. I’m ready to continue strengthening the Ukrainian-British strategic partnership together!," Zelenskyy wrote.

On October 20, Liz Truss announced her resignation as Prime Minister of Great Britain.
On October 24, it became known that Rishi Sunak will become the new prime minister.
On October 25, the King of Great Britain, Charles III, accepted the resignation of Liz Truss from the post of Prime Minister and instructed Rishi Sunak to form a new government.
