Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is, for a second time, one step away from a radiation disaster due to Russian actions - Zelenskyy
The Russian military have carried out another false-flag operation, shelling the Zaporizhzhia plant, which for the second time brought to the verge of a radiation disaster.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared his concerns in an evening appeal.
"Today, due to another Russian false-flag shelling operation, the last power transmission line connecting the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) with Ukraine's energy system was damaged. Again, and this is the second time, due to Russian false-flag operations, the Zaporizhzhia plant was one step away from a radiation disaster. I consider the fact that Russia is doing this right now, just on the eve of the IAEA's conclusions, very telling. The shelling of the ZNPP territory means that the terrorist state does not care what the IAEA says, it does not care what the international community decides. Russia is only interested in the worst possible development situation for as long as possible. This can only be corrected by strengthening sanctions, only by officially recognizing Russia as a terrorist state - at all levels," he said.
