Ukraine’s Defense Minister Umerov in Germany for talks with Pistorius

"German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius will receive his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov on a visit to the ministry in Berlin," the German Defense Ministry's press service said.

The topics of discussion between the defense ministers will include the development of the situation in Ukraine, German-Ukrainian cooperation in the field of security and defense, and strengthening of Ukrainian air defense.

The German Defense Ministry added that Pistorius plans to meet Umerov with military honors, and both ministers will lay flowers at the Bundeswehr memorial.

• Earlier, Umerov met with French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu. The main topic of conversation was strengthening defense cooperation.
