BR24 reported the information.
The Polish minister has thrown his support behind Ukraine's efforts to acquire the Taurus missiles while criticizing Germany for its hesitation in supplying new weapons systems to the combat zone.
"The supply of Taurus missiles, boasting a range of 500 kilometers, will markedly enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities," emphasized Sikorski.
He further highlighted that Ukraine's arsenal of cruise missiles supplied from other countries has already compelled Russian forces to relocate logistical bases, such as ammunition depots, well beyond the front lines.
Sikorski asserted that the introduction of German missiles would compel the Russian invading forces to "retreat even further."
- Recent media reports suggest that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's opposition to supplying long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine may stem from concerns about a unique secret guidance system.
