Ukraine's Armed Forces continue their counteroffensive in Kreminna-Svatove direction - spokesman for Eastern Group of Forces Cherevaty

He said this on Espreso TV. 

"After the Ukrainian Armed Forces' successful counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region and Lyman, the Ukrainian troops continued the counteroffensive in the direction of Kreminna-Svatove and liberated several settlements. The Russian forces are trying to build an effective defense system there, so they are digging trenches and installing concrete structures," Cherevaty said.

According to him, fierce battles are ongoing in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

"The Russian enemy is trying to break through the defense line. It is very difficult for our defenders there, but they hold the defense," Cherevaty added.
