Eight Russian soldiers have been informed that they are formally suspected of looting, namely removing computer and household appliances, jewelry, clothes, and even food from houses in Bucha
Ukraine's Security Service reported this on Telegram.
"8 looters from the Russian army, who were robbing Ukrainians in Bucha, have been informed of suspicion. Among them are servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces and the Russian Guard!" - it is noted.
It was established that during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, namely from February 24 to March 31, the Russian invaders looted the property of local residents and looted abandoned homes in Bucha. Most of the attackers are soldiers of military unit 6720 of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, among them is a paratrooper from Crimea.
They stole mainly computer and household appliances, jewelry, gadgets, clothes, and even food.
"It is documented that the perpetrators later sent the stolen property to their relatives in postal shipments from the Belarusian city of Mazyr. These "parcels" were intended for recipients in Altai and Khabarovsk Krai, and on Sakhalin", Ukraine's Security Service added.
Looters were informed of the suspicion. They face imprisonment from eight to twelve years.
