There are many Russian soldiers, but we are more motivated and professional - Ukrainian ‘ranger’ about battle for Bakhmut
A paratrooper ranger with the callsign Moriak (Sailor) told about the battle for Bakhmut. He noted that there are many Russian soldiers in that area, but the Ukrainian army is more motivated and professional
The press service of the Airborne Assault Forces' 71st Separate Ranger Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, according to Espreso.
"Moriak is from Odesa, but he went to war because he was very worried about Kharkiv. A city he had never been to but dreamed of visiting. Now he has returned from the trenches near Klishchiyivka. The village southwest of Bakhmut is being attacked by Russian forces day and night. It happened that the fortifications there changed hands several times a week. But no matter how much cannon fodder the Russian forces throw at them, Ukrainian soldiers have a firm grip on the settlement and repel the attacks," the statement reads.
The fighter believes that Ukrainian soldiers have learned how to fight, acting more professionally and efficiently than the Russian forces.
For reference. The 71st Separate Ranger Brigade is a unit born during the Russian-Ukrainian war. It was created immediately after the start of the large-scale intervention of Russian forces on Ukrainian land. Since then, the brigade's combat units have been hunting the Russian forces in the hottest spots of the frontline.
