Residents of the Russian city of Zlatoust in the Chelyabinsk region complained about a zinc coffin pile just on the side of the road. Authorities reacted by saying that they were already in the process of cleaning it up.
This was reported by Russian media.
Two open and one closed coffin were found on a city street.
The press service of the city administration reported that the police are conducting an inspection.
"The inspection was organized by law enforcement agencies. We, for our part, of course, have taken measures: everything will be removed, everything will be taken away, whatever is left. Right now, the work is already underway. We haven't received any official complaints, we learned the information from social media."
The mayor's office could not specify whether the coffins were empty.
