Ukraine opens names Russian disinfo propagandist who called for Ukrainian genocide as suspect in criminal case
The pro-Russian political analyst Tymofiy Sergeytsev, who publicly called for a genocide of Ukrainians, was declared suspect.
The Ukrainian Security Service shared the information, reports Espreso.West.
On April 3, the Russian news agency RIA Novosti published an article on their website in which the author called for the complete destruction of Ukraine and its nation. In the article, the author also promotes the destruction of Ukrainian culture, Ukraine as an ethnicity, and the creation of a number of separate "republics" under full Russian control.
"The propagandist consciously supports Russia’s war against Ukraine, calls for the destruction of the integrity of our state and denazification," the service said.
Investigators have already opened criminal proceedings on this fact. The propagandist is accused of violating three articles. In particular, actions aimed at forcible change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power (Part 3 of Article 109), encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (Part 1 of Article 110) and genocide (Part 2 of Article 442).
Materials are currently being prepared to support an international arrest warrant for him.
