Russian opposition position doesn't differ much from Kremlin - political scientist
Political scientist Mykhailo Basarab believes that Russian society is imbued with anti-Ukrainian and imperialist sentiments
He shared his opinion with Espreso TV.
"Putin's regime has long been on the rails of authoritarianism. Persecution of the opposition is definitely not a new phenomenon for Russia. Russia has a very large list of political murders that have not been investigated yet", Basarab said.
The political scientist is convinced that Russian society is imbued with anti-Ukrainian sentiments.
"I belong to those people who believe that it is not worth dividing Russians into good and bad. Since we have many examples, when Russian oppositionists publicly say something about Ukraine, their position is no different from the position of the Russian authorities. That is, Russian society is affected by big power and chauvinism. Therefore, we should not divide Russians into good and bad", he added.
