Russian forces position military equipment near main oil block in Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant turbine room, the reactor is the other side of that wall - station employee
Artem, Energodar resident and Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) employee, said that occupying Russian forces have positioned military equipment and munitions near the oil block, which contains 128 tons of engine oil, in a fire-hazardous manner
He told about this on Espreso.
An employee of the Zaporizhzhya NPP noted that Russian occupiers fully control the station's perimeter, but they were not at the power units until they began to drive in their equipment with ammunition, armored personnel carriers and other heavy military equipment.
"In the turbine hall of one of the power units of the station, military equipment is standing next to the main oil unit, which contains 128 tons of engine oil. This is very dangerous, because something could happen to the ammunition or someone could start smoking, as they do periodically. Accordingly, there will be a big fire , and the firefighting equipment will not be able to reach the main oil tank. The turbine compartment is directly behind the wall from the reactor compartment," explained Artem.
