The United States Ambassador to Kyiv, Bridget Brink, reacted to the morning attack on Ukraine. According to her, Ukraine needs security assistance from the United States. Meanwhile, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell spent the morning in a bomb shelter
The US Embassy was the first to respond to the morning attack.
"Now in Kyiv and around the country, men, women, and children awoke to another massive Russian missile and drone attack. We rely on Ukraine’s air defense - and its heroic air defenders - to protect us all. There is no time to lose. Ukraine needs our security assistance now," the statement said.
Brink emphasized that there is no time to waste because Ukraine needs help from the United States.
Later, Joseph Borrell tweeted about his morning in the bomb shelter.
"Starting my morning in the shelter as air alarms are sounding across Kyiv. This is the daily reality of the brave Ukrainian people, since Russia launched its illegal aggression," he wrote.
