Washington confirms NATO will provide €40 billion to Ukraine in 2025
At the summit, NATO member states will announce a minimum basic funding of €40 billion for Ukraine through 2025

In addition, Allies will announce their intention to ensure a sustainable level of security assistance to Ukraine to help it achieve victory.
"The United States is proud to support that effort. Our contributions to Ukraine for this pledge will come from the funds already appropriated by Congress in the national security supplemental, which President Biden signed into law in April" the statement said.
Earlier, Reuters quoted a Western European diplomat as saying that NATO member states had agreed to provide €40 billion in military aid to Ukraine for the next year.
- In May, reports said that Jens Stoltenberg would propose that NATO member states allocate at least €40 billion in military aid to Ukraine each year.
- On June 14, it was reported that NATO defence ministers had not agreed on a funding plan for Ukraine that would allocate €40 billion a year.
