Ukraine's military intelligence disables Russian Baltic Fleet ship Alexander Obukhov

‘The ship, which was based in the city of Baltiysk and was supposed to go on combat duty, was severely damaged - water got into the engine due to a mysterious hole in the gas duct: ‘Obukhov choked on water,’ the article says.
The military intelligence said that the ship is currently undergoing major repairs. The M-503 engine is damaged, and it is technically difficult and expensive to repair the key installation on the ship.
The intelligence service emphasizes that the Alexander Obukhov is the second ship of the Russian Baltic Fleet to be hit in the last six months.
‘Interestingly, the disabled enemy ship was recently undergoing repairs in St Petersburg in July this year,’ the report adds.
- On April 7, the Serpukhov missile ship was put out of action on the territory of the Russian naval base in Baltiysk, Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation, as a result of a fire.
