Engineer involved in making missile Russia launched at Kharkiv commits suicide
In Russia, an engineer from the Almaz-Antey plant committed suicide after learning that his grandmother died in Kharkiv as a result of a missile strike, which he was involved in creating
Russian Telegram channel New Great Russia reports.
In his suicide note, the man claimed that he had personally contributed to the missile that hit Kharkiv. "I, Anton Ihorovych Horobets, worked as an engineer at the Main System Design Bureau of the Air Defense Concern Almaz-Antey named after Academician A.O. Rozplietin. A few days ago, the missile to which I contributed reached Kharkiv, hitting the house where my grandmother lived on my mother's side, and she passed away. I couldn't live with this," he wrote in his suicide note.
According to Russian media reports, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation considers it a murder. An investigation into the employees who may have interacted with the deceased has been initiated at the enterprise.
Official Russian media and opposition publications in Russia have not provided any commentary on this incident.
