Russia loses 840,000 soldiers in Ukraine since start of invasion

In the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,320 Russian servicemen along the Russian-Ukrainian front. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the occupying Russian army has lost over 840,000 soldiers

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 2, 2025, are approximately:

  • personnel - about 840,360 (+1,320),
  • tanks - 9,908 (+6),
  • armored fighting vehicles - 20,667 (+14),
  • artillery systems - 22,538 (+45),
  • MLRS - 1267 (+1),
  • air defense systems - 1,050 (+0),
  • aircraft - 369 (+0),
  • helicopters - 331 (+0),
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 23,793 (+99),
  • cruise missiles - 3,054 (+0),
  • ships/boats - 28 (+0),
  • submarines - 1 (+0),
  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 35,709 (+80),
  • special equipment - 3,729 (+2).
