Poltava regional military administration head Dmytro Lunin shared the update.
"Six Russian missiles hit the Kremenchuk refinery, which wasn't operational at that time, and two missiles at the thermal power plant (TPP). Fortunately, no one was injured. Russia is attacking these facilities for the first time. Rescuers are working on the spot," Lunin wrote.
The refineries and thermal power plants during the full-scale war suffered the greatest attacks and destruction among the entire infrastructure of the Poltava region.
