Russia deprives the Ukrainian Armed Forces of the opportunity to cross the Dnipro - Olexandr Kovalenko

This was stated on the air of Espreso channel by military expert Olexandr Kovalenko.

"The Russians will have severe problems in the South after they leave the right-bank part of the Kherson region. They are now forming several lines of defence on the left bank to level the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to cross the Dnipro," he said.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not do this.

"The liberation of the Ukrainian South will take place through the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russians are considering a crossing scenario and cannot reduce their presence on the left bank. If there are no such lines of defence, then 100% of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be able to cross the Dnipro. The piquancy of the situation is that the left bank of the Kherson region is an even more open area than the right bank. Their positions are in the palm of the hand. In my opinion, the most exciting thing about the liberation of the Ukrainian South will take place in the Zaporizhzhia region," the expert summed up.
