The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.
The idea was discussed by representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, MPs - representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Security, Defense and Intelligence, and experts.
The working meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General Anatolii Barhylevych, Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.
The creation of the Cyber Force as a separate type of force will significantly enhance the capabilities of the Ukrainian army, ensure effective planning and implementation of the full range of tasks in cyberspace, which, along with land, sea, air and space, is recognized as a separate operational domain.
- On September 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed Bill No. 11507 on the inclusion of the Unmanned Systems Forces in certain branches of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
