Preliminary assessment of Ukraine's implementation of recommendations for EU accession to be announced in June - journalist Jozwiak
The European Commission has postponed the announcement of the assessment of Ukraine's implementation of the recommendations for EU accession to June, although it was originally supposed to be made public in the spring
Radio Liberty correspondent Rikard Jozwiak reported the information on Twitter.
According to him, an "oral update" on Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova's compliance with EU recommendations will be given in June. The report on EU enlargement, which will include the main assessment, will be published in the fall, as planned.
"The “oral update” by the European Commission on how Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia are doing in terms of EU accession is now likely to come first in June. It was meant to be delivered in spring. The enlargement report still set for autumn - probably October," the statement said.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna said that Ukraine's future path to the EU would depend on this assessment of the implementation of the 7 recommendations. The Ukrainian government has already adopted more than 70 laws necessary to implement the Association Agreement.
