Russia deploys 400 missiles and drones in last two attacks on Ukraine's energy system
Russia used more than 200 missiles and almost as many attack drones during the last two massive attacks on the Ukrainian energy grid on November 17 and 28
This was reported by Ukrenergo, the state-owned electricity transmission system operator in Ukraine.
“The enemy is trying to destroy the Ukrainian electricity system, sparing no expense in using hundreds of missiles and drones. But after each massive attack, we immediately begin to restore it. The stockpile of equipment we talked about was the right decision,” said Oleksii Brekht, Acting CEO of Ukrenergo.
According to him, it is not always possible to do everything quickly, because the scale of damage can be significant.
At the same time, the company noted that after two consecutive massive attacks, the Ukrainian power system is once again being restored. Ukrenergo also urged people to follow the recommendations for efficient electricity consumption.
