Over 460 Russian army crimes against civilians recorded in Gostomel - Kyiv prosecutor's office
Dmytro Sitar, first deputy head, Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv, said that law enforcement officers are aware of over 100 locals who died in Gostomel during the Russian forces' occupation of the village.
He told it "Espreso.TV" live on air.
"In the course of reproducing the events that took place there, we currently have more than 460 episodes of committed crimes. These are various crimes: kidnappings, shootings of people, these are many, many different events. It has been established that there were more than 100 deaths in this village, in general, if we consider it, people died from various causes: from artillery, bullet wounds, someone's heart could not stand it. This all happened from the period of those battles that were outside the city from February 25 and during the period of occupation until the beginning of April." Dmytro Sitar said.
The first deputy head of the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Kyiv emphasized that the law enforcement officers have not yet completed their work on identifying the crimes committed by the Russian military against the peaceful residents of Gostomel.
"We did very painstaking work was there. We monotonously, step by step, inspected all the houses destroyed by artillery, as a result of hostilities, all cars, bodies. For more than one month, we carried out the work directly at the place where these crimes were committed. And to this day, all this work has not yet been completed. We do not know how many more of these criminals we will be able to identify, but we are doing everything for this," he said.
