One person killed as result of Russia attacking Sumy region
On November 6, Russian forces launched 203 shells and mines in the Sumy region. As a result, one woman died, another was injured
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of Sumy reginal military administration, shared report on Telegram.
"Russian troops fired 203 shells and mines along the border of Sumy region. The communities of Bilopolska, Vorozhbyanska, Esmanska, Krasnopilska, Khotinska, Seredyno-Budska, and Shalyhynska came under fire," he said.
According to Zhyvytskyi, Russian troops struck 32 times with self-propelled artillery, and later 40 times with MLRS in the Khotinska community. In Seredyno-Budska and Bilopolska communities, Russian occupiers damaged two electric poles. Russian troops initially fired 42 shells, and later another 30 in the Vorozhbyanska community.
"One woman died, another one was injured. Currently, we know about 7 damaged residential buildings, 6 utility buildings, two summer kitchens, a bathhouse, a city cafe, a cemetery, two cars, power lines and gas pipes," he added.
