Occupying Russian forces issue passports as a precursor to calling up residents - Zaporizhzhia Military Administration
Before making passports available to locals, Russian forces subjected Zaporizhzhia to missile attacks
Oleksandr Staruh heads the Zaporizhzhia Military Administration, and shared these views in a live interview on In:Time Ukraine channel.
“Russian occupation government plans an against-will issuing of Russian passports on the occupied territories. They’re trying to conquer the government and take the vital systems under control. Before offering passports, they attacked Zaporizhzha with missiles.” - Staruh
He also explained that the Russian occupants are trying to scare people into collaboration with attacks, and then issue passports to mobilise people.
“Every our citizen clearly sees this scheme, the same as Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, which were conquered by the Russian forces. Today the occupants are issuing passports to later use those people in different ways, including mobilisation.”
