Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, announced this on the Telegram channel.
"Russian occupiers struck Kharkiv. We appeal to the residents: do not ignore the alarm signals!" - specified in the message.
As the Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov added, Russians shelled the Kyivskyi district of the city, in the residential area. According to preliminary information, the houses were not damaged. A fire broke out in one-story non-residential buildings next to houses.

Later, Terekhov wrote that three hits had been recorded over Kharkov, and a few minutes later - about another strike. In particular, Russians hit Kholodnohirsky district. According to preliminary information, the infrastructure facility was damaged. The light went out in some areas of the city.
Power engineers and communal services are working to return electricity to the homes of Kharkiv residents as soon as possible.
