The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has announced that Ukraine's neighboring countries have begun to respond more actively to the threats of missiles and drones from Russia

Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, said this when commenting on recent events, when Poland and Romania have already raised F-16s during an attack on Ukrainian territory by Russia.

"There are NATO centers in member states. Accordingly, they coordinate with each other and respond to a particular threat. But each country also has its own Air Force - Poland and Romania - and accordingly, they have begun to respond more actively to the threats that appear close to their borders. And everyone knows the threats - strike drones and missiles that Russia often uses too close to the border areas," Ihnat said.

According to him, this is particularly true in the Danube region, where port infrastructure, including that of Ukraine, is attacked, and in the Lviv region, where debris fell on Polish territory.
