New military helicopter, motorcycle models approved for Ukraine's Armed Forces

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense reported the information.

In particular, samples of a military helicopter VO 105 E-4 and a motorcycle KTM 450 EXC were accepted for supply to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 

The German-made VO 105 E-4 multi-purpose helicopter is used primarily for surveillance. It was the first light helicopter in the world with two engines and was the first to perform inverted loops. It can also transport passengers and cargo. 

The second piece of military equipment that the Ukrainian military will now have is a KTM 450 EXC speed motorcycle. It allows for the transportation of soldiers and light weapons over rough terrain.

• Earlier, the Ministry of Defense also approved a prototype of special headphones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces that will help protect hearing from explosions and gunfire.
