During the first weekend at the Ukrainian box office, Mavka. The Forest Song outsold the US blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water by the number of tickets sold. The animated film will be shown in more than 80 countries

"During the first weekend at the box office, Mavka outsold the American blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water by the number of tickets sold - 189,048. The box office for four days in the cinema amounted to UAH 24,903,241," the press service reports.
More than 80 countries have acquired the rights to screen the animated feature, and more than 50 of them have already decided on the exact dates of the film premiere. The number of countries willing to see the Ukrainian animated film Mavka. The Forest Song is growing every day.
On February 26, a pre-premiere grand screening of Mavka was held in Saudi Arabia, and later in the Middle East, including Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Yemen, and North Africa - Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.
On March 5, the film was shown in Abu Dhabi.
On March 29, the international distribution giant Universal Pictures Content Group and distributor KMBO will launch a wide national theatrical release of Mavka in France, and the same day, the film will be shown in Belgium. Next up:
