Russia attacks Kharkiv twice at night, there are injured
On the night of Tuesday, May 21, the Russian occupation army attacked Ukraine: two strikes left seven people wounded in Kharkiv, and explosions rocked Odesa and Poltava regions.
Kharkiv regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov said that fires broke out as a result of the fall of Russia's Shahed-type drones, and 25 trucks, buses and 3 private cars were damaged in the morning missile strike.
"Windows in a three-story office building of a utility company were also damaged. 4 private houses were affected. As a result of the rocket attack on the transport company, 2 people were injured," the official wrote on Telegram.
In total, 7 people sustained injuries.
Ukrainian Air Force destroys 28 of 29 drones launched by Russia
Mykola Oleshchuk, the commander of the Air Force, reports that in total, the Russians launched 29 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs at Ukraine from three directions: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk in the Russian Federation, and Cape Chauda in Crimea.
As a result of antiaircraft combat, the defenders of the sky destroyed 28 Shaheds over Odesa, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kherson, and Kirovohrad regions.
